I just noticed that the front R4 tires on my 3830 interefere with the LA723 FEL mounting frame when turning sharp. Does Kubota have a fix for this problem. I have my dealer checking into it as well but thought someone here might know.
Thanks,
Brad

Many tractors have adjustable stops for the front wheels. A solution might be to back out the stops although that would increase the turning radius. ....

I believe there are stops that can be adjusted on that tractor to stop that. Look on the back of the housing and there should be a bolt with a lock nut. ....

The tire actually hits the frame at about 90-95% of the total steering movement from the straight position. The tire then moves past the frame and hits the steering stops. Moving the stops so it would clear would significantly reduce the turning radius. I will try to post some pictures if I can. ....

That is the bad part and unfortuanatly you already know how nice and handy it can be to turn tighter so now it's a matter of do you want to loose that? Or maybe how much of it. What probably happened is that someone changed the tires or spacing after assembly and didn't readjust the stops. ....

Increasing the width through adjustments or reversing the wheels might help as well. ....

Just found out from my dealer that Kubota has a service bulletin on this problem. The fix involves modification to the loader frame. Moving the tires out would make the problem worse and is not recommended by Kubota. It seems any Grand L with the 10-16.5 R4 front tires and a LA723 loader would have this problem. ....
